Sophie Katz
People of Mention Actress
Sophie Katz is the official spokesperson for Prometheus Enterprises. She’s been in her position for the last thirteen years and does everything from promotional tours to commercials. Sophie was recruited into her position by the Prometheus Modeling Agency at age 18. She started off with just small parts in marketing adds, but soon grew into Prometheus’s mascot after the public fell in love with her bubbly personality. Sophie has celebrity status among Prometheus employees and has even held office as the Area Controller of Public Relations for several years (a prized corporate position).

Sophie makes sure to exercise, undergo vitamin treatments and biological alterations in order to stay as beautiful as the day she started her career. The maintenance has helped her earn a whopping seven “Most Beautiful Person in the Galaxy” awards, and many other honorable mentions. At 32, Sophie is still strikingly gorgeous, dating handfuls of pop idols and superstars. Some eyewitnesses however, rumor that the icon is secretly in a relationship with business acumen, Tom Kearney. Tom is one of youngest Chairmen for Prometheus Enterprises and most powerful entities within the company.

Belinda Striven
People of Mention S19
Belinda Striven is the missing daughter of Prometheus Chairman Samuel Striven. The teenager went missing after an innocent vacation with college friends turned into a mysterious disappearance. The six girls were traveling from their affluent homes off of Proteus (a moon of Neptune) to a Prometheus Cruise lines just outside the moon’s atmosphere when their ship signal disappeared from all sensors. At first, this was thought to be interference, but after several patrol units found no trace of the girls, one of the biggest galactic searches in history was conducted.

Belinda’s enigmatic vanishing lead her father to offer a rewards of one-hundred-thousand capital to anyone who could bring her home safely. Authorities are under the belief that neither pirates or smugglers were involved, as the route Belinda traveled was highly patrolled. They’ve also ruled out the idea that she and her friends may have crashed, as no wreckage could be found. While some think that Belinda has ran away, others have accused several inter-corporate employees of being responsible, as tensions on Proteus have been rising due to unsettled injury lawsuits which Prometheus had throw out of court. With her disappearance nearly four months ago, investigators are starting to doubt her well being, yet her father still offers his handsome reward.

Boardmember Tom Kearney
People of Mention BusinessMan
Tom Kearney is one of the youngest Chairmen in Prometheus Enterprises history. He started as an education major at Earth’s Yale University, but quickly changed his path of education once he discovered the potential of Terran business. His parents, both prominent Prometheus diplomats, supported his move and helped fund his schooling. Tom then went to work for Kona Industries, a small business ran by his colleagues, but after several years, it went out of business. Tom then willingly surrendered to his parents continuous offers and joined the Prometheus workforce.

For his first few years, Kearney struggled to rise up entry level positions, but after becoming senior director of marketing at his property, Tom’s true colors shined. He helped Prometheus prospect a few businesses that were failing due to poor business plans. With his help, Prometheus bought out the industries, merging them and rebuilding them for mass profit. For his efforts, Kearney was able to take the position of his former department boss (it’s also rumored that he conducted some ruthless politicking in order to get the position). He then used his knowledge as a small markets businessman (Kona Industries) to start buying out smaller mining companies located on the outskirts of the Milky Way. The result were hundreds of flipped conglomerates that Prometheus absorbed, earning billions in profits. From there it was easy for Tom to apply as a chairman of the board, though his age did cause a slight hindrance. Eventually though, Tom was taken in and he began using his merciless drive to make himself an important part of the Prometheus pillars.

At 38, Kearney is a reckless playboy who uses his position to live the life of celebrity. He has several side projects which he’s orchestrated as side projects in order to earn a personal fortune. Still lacking in propriety, Kearney has been called a cowboy of business, slithering his way to the top. While a few of his fellow board members are worried about his motives (fearful he’ll try to become the sole power of Prometheus), there has been nothing they can do to stop him since he follows all the rules. Recently, rumors persist that Kearney is trying to build a relationship with Novacon and Balidar Council members, but how much of this report is speculation is still unknown.

Marissa Star
People of Mention PrometheusPilot
Marissa Star (real name Marissa Rosencrantz) is a reality space-show star who Prometheus uses as a marketing campaign to lure in cadets for the Prometheus Star Defense Department. Marissa won her position after successfully defending a mobile star base from a mutinous Prometheus flight crew. While she did have some support, it was mainly Marissa’s actions that lead to the destruction of the insurgents. After repelling the revolt, Marissa became a corporate celebrity and soon was offered her own cockpit space-show which documented her campaigns.

Although her show has been accused of being scripted, it is still one of the most successful corporate broadcastings, enticing viewers from an age range of fifteen to thirty. Though she patrols “safer” routes within the Milky Way, she can still be watched once a week as she detonates meteors, investigates unregistered crafts and occasionally skirmishes with pirates. Marissa is actually a very talented flyer, but because of her criticized fame, many gifted pilots wish to challenge the Prometheus star while many pirates desire to shoot her down. Luckily, her accompanying squadron is usually well equipped and can repel anyone attempting to ruin the Marissa Star show.

Derrick “The Doppelganger” Kraft
People of Mention XEmoGuy
Derrick Kraft is a data programmer and former electronic security manager for the Prometheus Enterprises Computer Department. For years, Derrick was looked at as a computer wizard, and his ability to smell a hacker or data thief was uncanny. Except, when auditors began noticing that large, untraceable amounts of funds were starting to load into Devin’s bank account, an official investigation was underway. Derrick was found guilty of several acts of data fraud, manipulation of funds and selling of inside information to outside companies. He received thirty years in a maximum state Prometheus prison.

Except, Kraft had other plans as well as a wildcard to help him escape. For what people didn’t know about him is that Derrick also was a talented psion with a knack for creating false visages upon himself. Much like doppelgangers of mythology, Derrick could take the appearance of other sexes, races or people. In fact, Derrick had been using his talents to transform into several Prometheus high executives in the past, which is why he earned his management position to begin with.

Using the form of several security guards, Derrick snuck out of the penitentiary and slipped into the black markets of Earth’s Solar System. He now hides under several different aliases, avoiding law enforcement at every turn. He programs false identities for others in a scheme that has earned him thousands of capital. His ability to alter computer data has made him a proficient ID forger and scam artist. Derrick is also a talented criminal gang leader, and has organized several small bands of henchmen in order to push his profits even further. Though he’s difficult to find and very costly, Derrick has proved that if you’re looking to change your identity, he’s the man the see.

Norman Allen
Norman Allen is a former Prometheus celebrity and mercenary for hire. He started his illustrious career as an athlete on the Prometheus telecasted show “Mech Fighters”, a program that put mech-pilots against each other in tough physical challenges. However, when the show was cancelled due to its ratings, Norman had little he could do to make a living. As a result, he joined a posse of mech-mobsters. This gang bullied their services of protection onto defenseless businesses owners, manipulating them out of their capital. However, when authorities finally became wise of their scheme, the group disbanded as to hide from law enforcement. Norman though was not one for quitting, and decided to present as a gun for hire. Working for companies, towns and pirate crews alike, he’s managed to keep himself in enough capital to survive while making a bit of a name for himself.

He is a very talented mech-pilot and uses his mechanical body as if he were born into it. He can fight viciously in the suit, flying through tight spaces if need be, and has even been known to outmaneuver small fighters in the depths of space. His massive iron claws are deadly in melee, and the strength they provide makes for easy destruction of doors or other obstacles. Norman is especially famous for using these obstacles as weapons, hurling them at enemies with intense force. Most recently, Norman has been spotted along the system of Hates, but he is never known to stay in one area for long.

The Toy Maker
People of Mention Screenshot2013-03-20at9_zpsfd2362f3
The Toy Maker is an anonymous robotic engineer who has helped design some of the most advanced new robots within Prometheus's current outfit. The Toy Maker agreed to sign on with Prometheus in 2520 A.D., if only the corporation promised to keep his/her identity a secret. For four years the Toy Maker used Hexisan designs to enhance Terran robotics. The Toy Maker created new servant droids, cleaning drones, and medical robots. However, the Toy Maker has always been best known for their War Machines.

Then in October of 2524 A.D. , the Toy Maker went missing. Many speculate that the Toy Maker had grown tired of creating robots whose main purpose in life was destruction, and broke their contract from Prometheus. New independent Toy Maker designs have still surfaced within the last few months, causing most to suspect that Toy Maker is still out there doing what they love, only without restrictions or deadlines. Some affluent merchants and tradesmen have even gone so far as to hire investigation companies to try and fine the Toy Maker, so that they too can hire the Toy Maker to help improve existing robots while creating new specialized robotics for specific jobs. Yet, as of 2525 A.D., no one can specifically say where the Toy Maker may be, let alone who they are and why they've retired.

Dorian Lovecraft
People of Mention Lovecraft_zps3a561b09
Dorian Lovecraft is the re-established Prometheus Regional Security Director of the Crux-Scutum Arm. The well known corporate ladder climber temporarily lost his position after pirate raiding in his jurisdiction reached an all time high. He was quickly put back in his position however, once his replacement allowed even more piracy to commense and resigned from the post.

Dorian ran a brief stint as Transportation Director of Prometheus Space Station 81c, where it is believed he did most of the scheming to regain his position as Regional Security Director. While his former staff only whisper, it is rumored that Dorian used the wide band communication devices to cut underhand deals with several factions, including Prometheus moles, Hades planet officials, and underworld representatives. While there's no evidence to prove this due to a major power outage that ravaged Space Station 81c, some insist its the truth.

Meanwhile, Dorian has renamed the Prometheus appointed blockade runner for the Crux-Scutum arm, Tantalus, to a name he finds more suitable for his second term, The Phoenix. In this Imperial Class fighter, Dorian has set up his mobile operation center, and wishes to take a hands on approach against daring raiders. While most suspect this is just a P.R. ploy, it has helped him earn the support of upper security chairpersons within Prometheus' company. And if he can reduced the number of pirates in the area, he may be able to keep his position this time for a much longer span then during his first tenure.

Solomon Grady
People of Mention Fighty_zps681d60a0
Solomon Grady was the head of Prometheus Security on station 81c. He ruled with an iron fist, falling subservient only to his superior, Dorian Lovecraft. Solomon was a constant brow beater, picking on anyone breaking even the most trifle of rules. He was quick to anger and constantly looking for people to enforce rules upon. When not on the job, Solomon was an avid Entomologist enthusiast. He kept a large collection of galactic insects within his security office, and was very proud of his exotic creatures. Some say that Solomon even had psionic capabilites, but no official records can confirm or deny that allegation.

However, on February 27th, 2525 A.D., all of that would change when a raiding party from the infamous S.S. Aifor, attacked the station. Along with several other stationed defenders, Grady attempted to protect the compound. Unfortunately, when the pirate corsair ship retreated into the blackness of space, the pressure from the breach it created sucked Solomon into the cosmos, killing him. While a small service was held in all of the fallen's honor, no one from Prometheus station 81c seemed to mind that the former security head was no more.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
~Behind the Scenes~
While its not publicly known, Solomon Grady was in fact a very talented psion. His director on the station, Dorian Lovecraft, had learned of Grady's dormant talents, and invested in offsite tutors to help improve in the psychic's basic talents. With little to do in his off time, Solomon continued to focus on his psion education, and before long, was a master of his single talent, Necrokinesis. Lovecraft's faith in the security head only increased Solomon's loyalty to Dorian, and before long, he looked to the corporate manager as his unofficial master.

However, when the Aifor attacked the station, and Solomon was pulled out into space's vicious vacuum, everyone assumed he died. Such was not the case though due to his honed abilities. While the freezing temperatures, oxygen-less environment, and radiation dosages warped his body, Solomon survived. He was secretly pulled by Dorian's cleanup robots amidst the chaos and taken into hiding. Dorian now uses the disfigured psion to conduct any illegal business that may need handling. Lovecraft has also gifted Solomon with his personal pleasure yacht, an interstellar ship that he has no more use for.

Darren Mason is the younger of the two Mason brothers. Darren has a small band of construction crew members nicknamed “The Iron Monkeys”, that he takes with him on every site. This dozen or so workers attach to whatever assigned construction crews Prometheus gives Darren, and ensure that things are done the way Darren likes it. In his personal life, Darren is an alcoholic, cheat and womanizer, and is known to pay a lot of capital for high end prostitution. His recent stint in jail has caused some to be weary of Darren, as it is now on record that he has committed illegal acts to get to and keep the position he’s in.

Tony Mason
People of Mention DarrenMason_zps2ce89481

Since that time, Tony has taken on more challenging roles in order to with back Prometheus’s trust in him. In his personal life, Tony is known as a slithery curmudgeon who rarely speaks with anyone besides his brother. He is the brains of the two brother’s empire, and constantly is plotting in order to make his next fortune.
