Hexisan Space Vehicles
Ships come in many different makes and models. Much like most equipment, they’re dictated by their place of origin. While Terran based ships tend to reflect Earth airplanes of the silver-era (two wings for gliding, an anterior cockpit and a one-directional forward thruster), Hexisan vehicles take on much more exotic designs. Altarian ships, fighters & imperial classes, have simple cubed shapes with multi-direction thrusters. Meanwhile, Novacon ships are built for durability and tend to be both robust and extravagant. Balidar crafts have a slender disk-like shape that helps for speed while Elashani use small orb vessels to outmaneuver larger fighter classes. While these models make for an array of diverse transports, nearly all space vehicles have some common similarities.

Nearly all ships have life support systems which keep the user alive, especially in times of danger. They also have resistant metallic armor to protect them from the dangers of space as well as shields that can block incoming meteors, radiation and enemy weapons. Additionally, each ship tends to keep an array of computer sensors within their cockpits in order to navigate and detect any possible dangers that may be on their course. Ship weapons are also important, not only helping to defend the vehicle, but also protect against loose rock and drifting debris. Lastly, most larger crafts have some sort of method for interstellar or intergalactic space (though fighter ships usually do not).

Though most ships follow the described blue prints, even more unusual ships are rumored to exist. The Canthions have engineered primitive ships made of metal and rock which are fueled by psionic technology. Hageman Droid ships are said to be made entirely of robotic parts that have been whispered to still haunt the system near their original robotic factory. Even Doom Squid the size of massive Imperial Ships have been sighted in Hexisan, taking down entire space ports. With so many threats floating throughout the galaxies, it’s no wonder that designers continue to work on building new crafts in order to help crews of their ships survive.

Balidar “Vex” Strike Fighters

In one form or another, nearly every Battle Class Vessel has small defenders darting about. These light ships are commonly carried on the battle-cruisers in order to protect them from smaller threats. The Balidar have taken the light defender ships one step further by creating the “Vex” class light Strike Fighter. Admired for its quickness and maneuverability, it is much more reliable than Terran light vessels, due to its shields, structure and array of weapons. And since the “Vex” Strike Fighter has rotating wings with reverse thrusters, it can maneuver in a 360 degree range, instead of the direct thrust channel that most Terran vehicles tend to possess.

Balidar “Vex” Shuttle Craft

The Balidar “Vex” Shuttle Craft is known for jaunting between planets. This is the largest of the Balidar engineered crafts, as most of their ships are support vehicles for Novacon or Altarian Imperial Battleships. The shuttlecraft can transport people and cargo safely, even if not comfortably throughout Hexisan. When in times of danger, the craft can also show off its wide array of armaments and quick speed. Much like “Vex” Strike Fighters, the “Vex” Shuttle Craft has rotating wings with reverse engines for 360 degree maneuverability. Some Balidar “Vex” Shuttle Craft are even armed with cloaking capabilities in order to slip past dangerous space borders.

These massive Novacon fighters are nearly indestructible with reinforced hulls, armor, and advanced shields. Novacons pride themselves on Novacon Master Class Dreadnoughts which nearly helped them win the war against the Altarians centuries ago.

Altarian Rubicon Capital Ships

No other ship is more feared than the Altarian Rubicon Capital Ship. All six sides of this cube shaped capital vessel are armed with both thrusters and armaments, making it defendable from any angle. It can steer to any side, making its movements unpredictable, and has some of the best interstellar drive systems known throughout Hexisan. The Rubicon is a classical design, engineered thousands of years ago, and perfected throughout the ages. It's interior is equipped with the latest, and most advanced psi-tech, allowing crew to get from one part of the ship to the other with incredible speed. Though it is sleek and compact, the Rubicon is limited in space, giving it less room for passengers than other capital ships.

Canthion Organic Travelers

Canthion Organic Travelers are massive mammals who were hollowed out and manipulated by the Canthion race, only to be used as massive space traveling vessels. The creatures are a native species of Tevicar called Preytons who collect air born microscopic creatures to feed themselves. They have vacuum space resistances which help them stay alive at the top of Tevicar's  atmosphere, and can also protect them in the depths of space.  These Preytons are captured and operated on until their biology can maintain Canthion passengers. They are flown by powerful psions who can control thoughts and dominate actions. The Canthion Organic Travelers have no interstellar travel, but are sped up by psionic enhancements augmented by Canthion psions. They sometimes are armed with electrical long ranged weapons which help fend them from Hexisan vessels and Doom Squid.

Leviathans

Leviathans are Rasari adapted space craft that have been specially made to support water based creatures. The modifications can be pricey, and demand strong foundations, hence why Leviathans almost always tend to be larger sizes. A Leviathan is much like any other space ship, except that the air filtration system has been replaced by a hydro-oxygen engine. This apparatus both keeps water weights evenly distributed throughout the Leviathan, as well as enriched with a breathable aquatic atmosphere for Rasari. Leviathans also tend to keep at least one chamber of their ship waterless, with an inhalation edifice for air braething organisms. Otherwise, Leviathans are very similar to any other Imperial class vessel.
