The Ophidians
The Andromeda Galaxy is an extremely unstable galactic environment with dangerous radiation fields, unstable stars and major black holes. However, it's not to say that life can not exist. The Ophidians, a goliath sized creature who lives in the confines of Andromeda's space way has been making the cold vacuum-less confines between stars and planets their home for millions of years. These beasts can live for ages and are highly intelligent. They range in size depending on their age, and can be of any color of the spectrum. They tend to have elongated heads, clawed legs, and wings which they use to find prey on the planets they hunt along. They are psionically active loners, but occasionally meet socially to mate or for entertainment- though most avoid contact with one another due to their unpredictable nature. Though only the Ophidian named Starcaller has been officially seen, the creature has made mention of at least several other Ophidians which have been documented for academic sake.

STARCALLER
The Ophidians DK4
This massive amethyst Ophidian is the only one of his race to be witnessed by Hexisan civilians. He has massive pair of wings with crab like claws on the ends that he used for fishing when he was a young Ophidian. His true name is Sartaris-lezderkorviz-tran'gosha. He is said to be over ten-thousand years old, though he claims that for his first three thousand years, he was nothing more then a mindless savage. He is very mysterious about his psionic powers, though he's been documented to have several major abilities, including ones not previously known to the Hexisan galaxy. These powers include Acoustokinesis, Aerokinesis, Agrokinesis, Atmokinesis, Audiokinesis, Biokinesis, Clairvoyance, Cryokinesis, Cytokinesis, Electrokinesis, Electromagnetokinesis, Empathics, Energy Manipulation, Erebokinesis, Ferrokinesis, Fungokinesis, Geokinesis, Geo-Thermokinesis, Gerontokinesis, Gyrokinesis, Heliokinesis, Hyalokinesis, Hydrokinesis, Hypnokinesis, Ionikinesis, Necrokinesis, Nitrokinesis, Pyrokinesis, Radiokinesis, Serqekinesis, Telekinesis, Typhokinesis, Vibrokinesis and Vitakinesis.

He rarely speaks in public, though when he does he is extremely articulate. He is a humanitarian and thinks fondly of the preservation of life and peace. His organization, The Knights of the Dragon, are one of the largest and most affluent private institutions, claim Starcaller as their leader and give him ultimate power over the direction of their association. Starcaller currently lives on the moon of Dalirath that rotates the planet Permiah. It is unknown what his future plans are as the Ophidian rarely gives statements about his future.

ZOPHA
The Ophidians Whitefeathereddragon_zpsc85b8f70
According to Starcaller's chronicles, he has only met Zopha once and their brief encounter was less than exciting. Zopha is a younger Ophidian of white scale who makes her domain near the planet Eiefra. She has used the psionic ability of Cytokinesis to make herself lean and sleek. Her shimmering scales are mixed with feathers that help her move quicker than most Ophidians within a planet's gravity. Her gold talons have been altered as well, allowing her longer reach to crab prey that floats at the top of her planet's sea.

Unlike most Ophidians, Zopha mostly stays on the planet Eiefra, rarely leaving it for unknown reasons. Zophra's nature is mostly harmless, though she does seem to have a slight addiction to Molganian water fungus, a poisonous mold with psychotropic effects. Though Starcaller makes it clear that any Ophidian would be dangerous should they ever come to Hexisan or the Milky Way, he claims that Zopha may be the least threatening as she tends to keep to herself. Zopha is believed to be nearly five thousand years old, but these are only estimates from Starcaller's single meeting with her.

KHAN
The Ophidians Blackdragon_zps020a95aa
The real name of this Ophidian is unknown, though Starcaller has dubbed the black beast Khan. The ebony scaled monster uses its abilities to camouflage itself within space in order to sneak up on prey. He has altered his body so that he is quicker and less noticeable in space's atmosphere. Khan is significantly smaller than Starcaller and has never challenged him, though Starcaller is certain that Khan has murdered smaller, less powerful Ophidians before. The two have met on several occasions, all of them according to Starcaller were suspect.

Starcaller insists that Khan is not to be trusted. He is tactical and cruel, using his psionic abilities on smaller planets to tear them apart. He has destroyed several hundred types of species in his recklessness by consuming the environments' natural resources. Khan has not been seen for several hundred years though Starcaller doubts he is dead. Any Hexisan explorers who visit Andromeda have been warned of this dangerous Ophidian, as he is a danger to those around him.

MOGAIRIN
The Ophidians Horneddragon_zps5217b00a
Mogairin is the sworn enemy of Starcaller. He is of green thick scale, strong curved horn and razor sharp talons. The Ophidian is just as large as Starcaller, though not as robust. It is said that Mogairin is extremely dangerous, living only for death and destruction. He hates any sentient life, destroying it on site. Starcaller and Mogairin have dueled several times, each leaving major physical and psychic scars on the other.

The history of Mogairin according to Starcaller is blurry. The purple Ophidian met Mogairin when both were just young wanderers. Mogairin at the time was larger and stronger than Starcaller, and after a brief scuffle, Starcaller was forced to flee, only escaping after hiding within a meteor belt. From there, Starcaller began to prepare himself for a future encounter with Mogairin (Starcaller: "I was foolish enough to think that vengeance would solve any thing."), both training and physically changing himself for battle. Their next encounter would end with Mogairin's defeat, though Starcaller was too compassionate to end the beast's life.

This error led to their next encounter, when Mogairin ambushed Starcaller. After a battle near a highly volatile star, both were forced to retreat from extreme radiation sickness. Starcaller, a much more talented psion, was able to recover more quickly than Mogairin. Though Starcaller attempted to track his enemy afterwards, the emerald Ophidian was untraceable.

Since then, Starcaller has only found Mogairin's trail of death. Dead ophidians, destroyed moons and small planets, this is the footprint Mogairin leaves according to Starcaller. Though no one can say for sure whether the monster still lives, Starcaller feels that the beast is still out there and warns that if the creature were to ever find the Hexisan or Milky Way galaxies, millions would die.
