Serena Carmichael
People of Mention S10
Serena Carmichael was one of the lead psions within PIKE. As a child, she knew she had a talent for sensing people’s emotions, but it wasn’t until she was tested much later that she found how strong she truly was. Serena not only was an empathic, but also possessed Clairvoyance (see the future) and Vitakinesis (healing). Through the instruction of Altarian telepaths, Serena soon was one of the most potent human psions in the Milky Way. The T.A.F. immediately took advantage, as her faculties helped the organization get the edge on present and  future ambitions.  She could tell when enemies were lying, foresee the consequences of T.A.F. choices or even heal those dying from incurable diseases.

Then, when Serena turned thirty-three, she met the likes of Aden Mercer (later known as “Raven”), her future husband. Aden was a transfer from the T.A.F. Armed Forces whose past was a bit of a mystery. Serena was charged with helping P.I.K.E. train the warrior, as the two shared the abilities of Clairvoyance and Vitakinesis. Almost immediately did Serena’s abilities tell her that their connection would blossom into something more. Aden however, could not see the same. Nonetheless, the two trained for months until Mercer was nearly as powerful as his tutor.

Then, after Aden’s second year, the two finally began an intense relationship. They were engaged for several months before they took a brief trip to the planet Gliese 581c to elope. The two would continue working for the T.A.F., Serena as an ambassador and Aden as a Peacekeeper. In spite of this, after being married for only a year, tensions began to swell. It’s rumored that Serena discovered her husband had not been completely honest with her. Not only did he have many more psionic abilities than documented, but he was assisting the T.A.F. Armed Forces with these powers in  some of their most dangerous black-ops. Serena was disgusted and after several documented arguments, the two spoke of divorce. However, on one quiet, unsuspecting night in October at P.I.K.E.’s headquarters, a suppose fight broke out between the two, leaving Serena dead . Using a T.A.F. A-Class fighter, Aden went missing, evading military forces and disappearing into the abyss of space. Since that time, no one has heard from Aden. Meanwhile Serena was buried at the honorary cemetery within P.I.K.E.’s grounds, a large monument stationed at her grave.

High Commander Jason Jarrett
People of Mention Spc1
High Commander Jason Jarrett is the Chief of the T.A.F. Police Force. His duties include the organization of Criminal Protection, Criminal Investigation and   managing Department procedures.  He also organizes, directs, and controls all resources of the Department to preserve the peace, protect persons and property, and enforce ordinances and by-laws. High Commander Jarrett has only been in his position for the last three years and has already faced many challenges. His predecessor had neglected most duties, leaving Jarrett with a tight financial budget and growing criminal activity. In addition, the rise of smuggling into Earth’s Solar System has created new ties with the dreaded Terran Pirates.

Still, High Commander Jarrett doesn’t plan on taking it all sitting down. His connection to T.A.F. military officials has helped coerce them into aiding his cause. T.A.F. Star Forces have begun raiding suspected pirate hangouts with full force, capturing several notorious criminals in the process. Jarrett has also managed to work with the T.A.F. in reviving the famous “Most Wanted List”, which is published once a month. He’s marketed this list to area bounty hunters, getting the independent enforcers to help stop known criminals within and outside Earth’s Solar System. It’s Jarrett’s hopes that these efforts may be just what the High Commander needs to get the T.A.F. through these perilous times, filled with crime and misdeeds.

Biba Neevana
People of Mention Babith_zpsffd0a0df
Biba Neevana is a T.A.F. pilot and ship technician who earned her claim to fame during the “Ambush on Sideman”. The Solin Star Force member was in charge of maintaining the S.S. Absolute, a transporter ship in charge of carrying the Prime Minister to Hexisan. The well guarded vessel seemed to be conducting just another flight when an EMF field caused its interstellar engine to malfunction, leaving it in the midst of pirate territory. While no one can say for sure if the pirates planned the ship’s malfunction or merely took advantage, what’s for sure is that soon a group of pirate fighters were attacking the Absolute in overwhelming numbers. The convoy of T.A.F. escort ships tried to defend the Absolute, but the opposition was too much. Soon, only the Absolute still stood. With surrender the only option, the crew of the Absolute prepared to turn the Prime Minister over to the outlaws. However, at the last second, Biba Neevana used experimental equipment to negate the EMF fields and get the Absolute’s interstellar engines back in gear. The crew was able to fly off before capture and Biba was dubbed a hero.

Biba now is now a high ranking officer inside the Gliese 581c Space Station. While she no longer needs to fly, her passion to remain in the cockpit has made her the main instructor of flight maneuvers within the Gliese 581c cadet facility. She’s known for her friendliness and optimistic personality. Biba has also opened up a business to train outside pilots. She can be hired out for a minimal cost so long as members can provide a craft to be trained in.

Chief Seerix Fislum
People of Mention UllitorMuscle_zps386cf86f
Chief Seerix Fislum is the High Chief of the Ullitor “Time Honoraries”. The Time-Honoraries are a tribe of Ullitor natives who refused to abandon their culture in place of T.A.F. customs. Though they are few, only twelve thousand or so, their warrior beliefs can often cause conflict on Epsilon Eridani B. So, in order to keep peace within the lands, the T.A.F. has worked out arrangement with their leader, Seerix, in order to keep tensions composed. Chief Seerix keeps his people under control and may be the only official who is capable of keeping them from attacking civilized Ullitor towns. In return for his efforts, the Chief has a seat at all council meetings for Epsilon Eridani B and receives a sizable salary.

Chief Seerix Fislum is an elite warrior. He also is rumored to be powerful mystic, and can change the weather at will. While his people look at this as a gift from the gods, scientists speculate that it is Atmokinesis, a psionic capability. Nevertheless, this power only helps his people believe in the might of their Chief and keeps them obedient. So, while the civilized cultures of Epsilon Eridani B may fear the Time Honoraries, so long as Chief Seerix is at the throne, the people there should remain safe.

Madame Caitlin Dent
People of Mention S8
Caitlin Dent is the famous Grand Madame of the “Cat House”. The Cat House is a fleet of mobile transport ships designed to house Caitlin’s semi-legal prostitution ring within T.A.F. borders (lher license is only for T.A.F. territories). The Cat Houses travel to outside mining towns and prospecting areas, setting up shop nearby in order to entice lonely laborers. Since their employees are either naturally stunning or medically altered to be striking, the Cat Houses can usually compete with any local brothels. The members of staff are also educated in the art of pleasing their cliental due to Caitlin’s weekly space-casts.

Caitlin has retired from working the field, but still coordinates her business on the, “S.S. Aphrodite”, a main craft of the fleet. Still relatively young, Caitlin is still the master of seduction and can often help promote for her employees in order to bring more business. She also is an advocate for a clean work environment and makes sure that her associates are all under constant health care. That’s why each Cat House ship is equipped with a medical lab and health technician. With her knowledge of the industry and selling talent, Caitlin has become an impressive business owner, earning thousands of capital for a service she only started five years ago.

ADEN "THE RAVEN" MACER
People of Mention RAVEN3_zps0da9ee93
Aden Macer, aka “The Raven”, is a defector of the T.A.F. military and main suspect in the murder of his own wife. Aden was a highly intelligent young mind as a child, taking advanced college courses as early as eleven years old. Near the time of puberty, Aden realized that he also had other talents, ones deemed paranormal by Milky Way society. Though these numerous abilities served Aden in times of peril, he continued to feel ashamed by them and would for decades to come, until Terrans finally accepted Psionics as a natural phenomenon.

Then at eighteen, Aden was accepted into Cambridge University, and began studying galactic physics. He received a doctrine with honors eight years later, but in an act that would surprise friends and colleagues alike, he decided to enlist in the T.A.F. military instead of working as scientist for the many suitors who wished him on their staff. For the next ten years, Aden served in the mobile infantry before advancing into the Ice Hounds Special Forces program. There, he involved himself in some of the most deadly operations and was considered a top mind in the field of strategics. So much so that late in 2522, he received a distinguished level of command over the Ice Hounds and helped lead them into the many campaigns they currently still involve themselves in.  However, in late of 2523, Aden received word that the department of  P.I.K.E. (A psionic program lead by the T.A.F.) , was interested in his talents, and he decided to step down from his command in order to pursue these psychic endeavors.

Once at P.I.K.E., Aden began developing his gifts, and before long was one of the strongest psions in the program. He was dubbed “The Raven” for his macabre sense of humor, mysterious past, and haunting long black hair. As much as he still felt like an outsider, Aden finally began to open up to other psions, making friends throughout the department. It was at this time that he met Serena Carmichael, a fellow psychic, and their love affair began. The two started courting until 2524 AD, when they decided to exchange vows. At first, the relationship was blissful, but as time went on, the fighting began.

For Aden had been hiding a secret from Serena, one that would arguably destroy their marriage. He had been conducting secret operations with T.A.F. leaders, using his abilities to sabotage any enemies they might have. The act was declared unforgivable by Serena, and the two began talking about divorce. Only, before any paperwork could be processed, Serena was found dead and Aden appeared to have fled. Abandoning his position, he disappeared into the cosmos, where he hides until this day.

Marshal Logan Weller
People of Mention BountyHunter
Logan Weller, retired human Sergeant for the T.A.F. Infantry, hero at the Battle of Iron, and legendary Space Marshal of the Milky Way. He began his stellar career at the early age of eighteen, enlisting in the infantry after his parents disowned him for reckless behavior. Weller spent his first year adjusting to the strict demands of military life, but once adapted, he soon was on his way towards a successful career. It was during his first years of duty that Weller became good friends with his division Captain and future Senior officer of the T.A.F. Infantry as well as Federal Law enforcement branch, Sebastian Breton.

The two became good comrades and found themselves assigned to a military campaign that targeted pirates supplying rebel militaries inside the Hates system. For eight months they coupled with the T.A.F. Space Force, Weller as Breton’s trusted Sergeant, chasing down and raiding outlaw spacecrafts. Finally, at the end of the eighth month, T.A.F. troops cornered pirate and rebel mining forces into the iron quarry town of Trentwood, located on the diminutive planet of Demises VII. There, a massive land and underground battle took place, claiming nearly twenty-five-thousand lives in only three days. However, due to the brave direction of Sergeant Logan Weller, a strong push to finish off adversaries was successful and the battle finally finished.

After his tour, Weller returned to his home station as hero of the “Battle of Iron”. He finished up his last few months without incident and was honorably discharged at end of his ten year term. He returned to his home, Earth’s moon, where he spent a half-dozen months trying to coordinate a new career path. It was during this time that he took up arms as a bounty hunter, and was given the nickname, “Grizzly Weller” because of both his rugged appearance and even more rugged hunting tactics. However, while Weller was spending the next few years making money as a vicious convict chaser , his old friend Breton had earned his Commander stripes and inherited leadership over a new Terran Alliance program that pursued high end offenders running from the law. Breton offered Weller a chance to become one of the first Space Marshals and soon a legacy was born (though Weller wasn’t happy about strict code that forced him to shave).

Logan, who’d already been perfecting the art of man hunting, was remarkably successful in his early assignments. He helped bring down over twenty-eight fugitives in his first year, causing the Terran Alliance to increase funding for the trial program. Since Weller also had the backing of Commander Breton as well, he was able to secretly use T.A.F. military resources to help capture his targets. Before long, he was head of the small band of Space Marshalls throughout the Milky Way. Although, it wasn’t until he was assigned to catch the deadly mercenary pirate, Johan “The Disassembler” Faufin, that he earned his great Space Marshal reputation.

Johan the Disassembler was an Ullitor fugitive who’d amassed a following of scoundrels due to his status as not only a criminal lord, but fearless combatant of Terran law enforcement. He’d killed over eight police detectives and bounty hunters; becoming notorious for being able to smell a trap. Logan volunteered for the assignment, and obsessively began his chase for the rogue leader. At first, all seemed lost as Weller wasn’t heard from for months. Then, after Johan was caught, it was discovered that Logan had joined the Disassembler’s ranks and detained the villain by earning his trust. The news hit the public with a splash and soon Logan Weller was re-nicknamed the “Huntsman”.

Though, not all was perfect in the world of Logan Weller. During his time as a bounty hunter and Marshal, Logan had married three times and had several children. He was said to have several more offspring out of wedlock which he hid from the rest of his family. Logan was also an out of control alcoholic and owed copious amounts of capital to T.A.F. and Prometheus banks due to his lavish lifestyle. He had an unmanageable gambling habit, and spent the majority of his earnings at legal betting establishments. So, by the time the “Huntsman” had accomplished his impressive exploits as the man who brought down the Disassembler, he was already looking for new assignments in the hopes to offset his mounting money problems.

Incredibly desperate, the fanatical Logan donated his time to earning money as a Space Marshall. Finally, just as Logan was nearing fifty, he decided to take on a treacherous project which involved bringing in or killing the disreputable disease trader, Marlin “The Plague Bringer” Cronin. The Plague Bringer manufactured and sold incurable diseases to terrorists, pirates and rebels. His work had bought him a seat on the top ten most wanted list, but none could seem to find Marlin because of his secretive criminal network. Still, Logan wouldn’t let that dissuade him and soon he found himself following clues that lead him hot on the trail of this germ merchant.

He’d killed off or interrogated most of Cronin’s crew and soon found himself infiltrating the Plague Bringer’s lab. However, during a massive firefight that involved Logan, his deputies and Cronin’s gang, Weller was injured, but not before getting his man. “The Huntsman” had killed Cronin, but was now ill with what explorers called Space Rot. The disease slowly blackened and shutdown the victim’s body, piece by shadowy piece. As Weller raced back to Earth’s moon, he slowly rotted away from his ailment. By the time he made it home, the sickness had spread to the point of being irremovable. Space Marshall Logan Weller, aka “Grizzly” Weller, aka “The Huntsman” passed in a Earth moon hospital just days before his fifty-first birthday. Though the legendary Marshall had finally met his end, his legend continues to this day to echo throughout the Milky Way.

Commander Sebastian Breton
People of Mention Commander
Commander Sebastian Breton is a Brigade Commander for the 503-Raider Division. The 503 Division is a ship-to-ship infantry unit that works with the T.A.F. Space Force to coordinate ship raids against pirates as well as any other enemies that the T.A.F. may have. Since his nearly 5,000 troops are always mobile, Commander Breton has also had enough spare time to accept the duel honorary position as Chief Marshal of the Space Marshal Services Branch, a Terran Alliance title that puts him in charge of nearly twenty-five Space Marshals throughout the Milky Way.

Breton started off his illustrious career after graduating from officer academy in 2480 AD. He was involved in several high risk initiatives to take down pirate forces on the outskirts of the Hates System, and after ten years of fighting, found himself a Captain within the T.A.F. Infantry. From there, Breton resigned for another military term that put him on the path to becoming an anti-pirate specialist within the infantry ranks. He crept his way up to Brigade Commander of the 503-Raider Division by the end of his second term (2500 AD), a division he was partially responsible for constructing, before being proposed a second position as Chief Marshal of the T.A.F. organized/Terran Alliance Funded, “Space Marshal Service Branch”.

With the help of his early staff, Commander Breton was able to arrest or eliminate nearly three hundred criminals and helped change the Space Marshals from an experimental law enforcement program to a renowned Milky Way military policing department. However, controversy spread throughout the Terran galaxy when Commander Breton, along with many other T.A.F. officials, were caught privately meeting with Hexisan Council Members in 2516 AD. While Commander Breton and others have stated time and time again that the meetings were not part of some sort of conspiracy, they refuse to explain exactly what the summit was about. Even more disturbing is the fact that Breton has been seen with several more Hexisan representatives in the last few years, leading theorists to suspect even more foul play is at hand.

Maya “Medusa” Mendoza
People of Mention AAAMedusa
Maya “Medusa” Mendoza is a Terran prisoner detained on a T.A.F. base off of Titan , a satellite moon of Saturn. Before her incarceration, Maya, along with her little brother, was an orphan of Titan’s moon who’d been taken in by T.A.F. militaries as a project to clean up government housing for the deprived. Regrettably, this same military program that was suppose to help the unfortunate would only carve out a painful past for Maya which still haunts her to this day. Her ward, a youth instructor from the moon of Earth, was physically abusive to all the children and beat them daily for insubordination. Sadly, this heavy handed discipline lead several children to become permanently handicapped, even costing Maya a few scars of her own. Though it would not be until the death of her brother from the hand of the ward that T.A.F. civil services finally intervened and relocated the children to somewhere safer.

For Maya, the death of her brother was inconsolable, and the young girl spent her teens in and out of mental health facilities. When she turned eighteen however, Maya was given a clean bill of mental health and allowed to enter the free world. In spite of this, Maya decided to stay with the T.A.F., joining their mobile infantry and becoming a soldier for the galaxy. She served in several bloody campaigns against pirates which seemed to take a toll on her outlook. She became callous and vehement towards her duties as soldier. Soon she was applying to become an Ice Hound, and though it took her several attempts, she finally was inducted.

But, the brotherhood of the Ice Hounds is a costly one and soon the intense obligations began to take a toll. In order to cope with her responsibilities, Maya took a liking to another Hound, and before long the two were romantically involved. However, the relationship would not last long as her lover was killed while on assignment. Mendoza nearly imploded and took leave in order to cope. If not for the help of another Ice Hound and good friend, Aden Mercer, she may have taken her own life on several occasions, but instead, the girl rose from the ashes. She rejoined with her team and began taking long, high risk operations to keep her mind busy. However, with Aden gone to join P.I.K.E. for psychic training, Maya had no one to turn to and soon began to break again from the stress of each operation.

Then in early 2524 things took a turn for the worse. During a routine mission, Maya attempted to fake her own death. The ruse however, was unsuccessful and the girl had to run from her old team. With what little resources she had, Maya altered her assault armor in an odd and exotic fashion in order to match her new alias, Medusa. She ran as a mercenary for several months before finally being caught by bounty hunters. Having to stand trial in her planet of origin, Maya was returned to Titan where she plead guilty to treason. She now sits in a prison, rotting for the remainder of her lifetime.

R.O.D.
People of Mention SP11
R.O.D. (Robotic Operating Doctor) is one of T.A.F.’s ten EA-1 robots. His neon green paint job and fanciful programmed voice make R.O.D. uniquely individual. He was specially trained to not only be an explorer robot, but house doctor for the P.I.K.E. Institute, where he aided injured psions, monitoring their health. However, as R.O.D. continued to learn and grow, his AI conscience became more melancholy and disconnected. Soon R.O.D. attached himself to a particular P.I.K.E. member named Aden “The Raven” Macer. Aden’s intellect and astuteness made him a perfect friend for R.O.D. and soon the two were inseparable. However, as close as they might have been, it is still unknown weather R.O.D. openly chose to leave with Aden or was taken hostage after Mercer murdered his wife within the P.I.K.E. facility. What is certain is that Aden took the time to remove all tracking sensors stored within R.O.D., making him impossible to pursue. Now T.A.F. members desperately search for their lost property, hoping that they can reclaim the expensive robot they’d spent years developing.

Sheamus Radspinner
People of Mention S4
Seamus Radspinner is a psionic human, once part of the P.I.K.E. division, who helped Aden “The Raven” Macer escape from their psychic headquarters after he murdered his wife. Seamus, who is a talented Gyrokinesis (manipulates gravity), became close with Aden during their time at the psionic school together, and was solely responsible for convincing “The Raven” that fleeing would be his best option after the alleged homicide. Seamus even helped high jack their escape vehicle while Aden finished some last minute arrangements, making Radspinner an accomplice to evading the law.

Before this incident, Seamus was far from innocent. Growing up in the wastes of an industrial town near Dublin, Ireland, Radspinner spent much of his youth in-and-out of the local jails for numerous offenses. He began running with the wrong crowd and was soon an accessory to space craft theft which landed him five years on a United Kingdoms prison. After his release, Seamus tried to live within the city of Manchester, England, working as a T.A.F. waste management disposer. It was during this dull period in his life when Seamus realized he had other talents, being able to hold sway over gravity and bending it to his will.

He used his abilities to break into precious metal factories, gold depositories and weapons armaments, stealing the valuable goods to sell on the black market. As his psionic focus improved, he soon advanced with his criminal career by purchasing a small space ship and traveling to thieve from the rest of the universe. He would use his talents to disable orbiting businesses, transport ships, and space ports, pilfering their valuables to sell to the highest bidder. For the first few months, all went well, but as Seamus became more greedy, he soon caught the attention of all three Terran Alliance parties. After a short manhunt, Seamus was caught and brought into custody.

However, certain T.A.F. higher-ups became interested in Seamus’ abilities and agreed to free him from criminal charges so long as he cooperated with their latest project, “P.I.K.E.”. With the help of multiple psychiatrists and behavior coaches, Seamus was able to manage his unlawful inclinations before being deemed ready to work with other P.I.K.E. psions. He began to hone his capabilities, but always felt like a bit of an outsider, befriending only Aden Macer in his short time at the facility. Then, when Aden slew his wife, Seamus decided that supporting Raven was far more important than his training, and aided in the escape. Since that time, the two have never seen again.

Captain Juan Ordonez
People of Mention Mercenary_zps9346b3a7People of Mention Spacehog_zps80668dae
Captain Juan Ordonez is the leader of the 103 Mobile Infantry's "Razorback" Charlie Company located on Ophion. When the former Captain of Ophion, Dan Coilander, passed from space rot, T.A.F. officials searched far and wide for an officer who could take charge of Ophion's struggling ranks. After weeks of deliberation, they decided to send in Captain Juan Ordonez, who was known as a hard nosed officer that had the ability to both bring up moral and toughen up feeble minded soldiers. While officials knew the assignment would be tough, many had faith that Ordonez could do the job.

Ordonez would hit the ground running, landing in with a supply depot at dawn, only to give the first command just an hour later. He nicknamed Charlie Company the Razorbacks, convincing them that they'd become rugged and vicious just like the native Earth pig. Within a week Ordonez had defenses better situated, tighter disease control regulations, and a better coordinated daily routine. Though his company is only made of a hundred soldiers or so, under Ordonez, they run a much tighter ship, and feel they are capable of defending themselves against twice their numbers if necessary.

Julian Heathcliff Montgomery III
People of Mention Yarf_zpsefabcd15
Julian Heathcliff Montgomery III is the grandson of a T.A.F. mining tycoon, Julian Montgomery the 1st. Julian Montgomery Sr. built an empire by contracting mining supplies for the T.A.F. This contract for Montgomery Products extends for the next one-hundred-and-fifty years. His father, Julian Montgomery II, took over after his father’s death and helped paten some of the most cutting edge gas and mineral extraction apparatuses known to Terrans today. After his father’s untimely death, Julian Heathcliff Montgomery III left college in order to inherit the company. Using suspect business tactics, Julian III began to extend T.A.F. supplies to both Prometheus and House of Veneration mining companies, nearly tripling the Montgomery net worth. Now an important figure in the Terran Alliance economy and a multi-trillionaire, Julian III uses his influence to stir global politics in his favored direction. He is a major member of the Aptions Fraternity (Master Mason), and uses his weight to get other Aptions to help keep Hexisan aliens out of Milky Way politics. Sources say that he is so adamant about keeping aliens out of Terran affairs, that he has even secretly supported gorilla pirates groups destruction of intergalactic travelers. He has an extreme odium towards the Ambit (see Milky Way Galaxy Culture for more on the Ambit), and denouces the Terran Alliance’s acceptance to the routing tool. Julian III can usually be found in his massive eighty-four floor underwater facility, The Emerald (because of its exterior bottle green hue).

Julian Heathcliff Montgomery IV
People of Mention MontIV_zps7fa489d4
Heir of the throne after his father’s murder, Julian has become the new head of the Montgomery estates-a fortune worth neary 3.2 trillion capital. Though Julian is deeply depressed by his father’s death, some claim that the tragedy may be a blessing in disguise. Julian’s father had been involved in several unscrupulous affairs, including the funding of pirate-terrorists who he’d hoped would disrupt the importing of Hexisan aliens. While still under investigation, most people are under the presumption that it is because of these dealings that the pirates were able to force entry into the Montgomery building in Atlantis, as well as why they assassinated Montgomery III.

Julian is expected to take a lighter, more unadulterated approach to his power. Though he is still very politically traditional, he is less involved in galactic scheming. In addition, Julian has close ties with his former lover, Lady Lockwood, who is an advocate for Hexisan rights in the Milky Way. As for the Aptions, they are in need of a new head mason, whom they expect to elect after the April induction ceremonies. Candidates include Lady Lockwood, Prometheus Director of Crux-Scutum System Affairs, Arnold Usef, and Professor of Galactic Theories and Author, Donald Rayburn.
